Ascensus Global was selected to design and deliver an intensive 5-day course for Spanish and Portuguese USAF LEAP scholars on foundational translation and interpretation skills prior to a trilateral Rapid Airfield Damage Repair exercise immediately following the course and preparing LEAP scholars for future roles through assignments, deployments and temporary duty. The planned exercise is a training event based on the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) operational concept aimed at enhancing the USAF’s flexibility, survivability, and readiness in contested and degraded operational environments, emphasizing the deployment of forces and operations across multiple locations to complicate an adversary’s targeting and to maintain operational effectiveness. This customized ACE course focusing on rapid airfield runway repair is an example of Ascensus Global’s Specialized Tactics and Readiness (STAR) training designed to elevate language skills and specific professional performance requirements through significant emphasis on customization, customer involvement, and the integration of real-world task-oriented exercises and related documentation.
